McKinney Modern Quilt Guild Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 6:35 pm on 6/2/15
Meeting attended by 29 members and 3 visitors for a total of
32 people. We have been asked to setup
some kind of a membership directory. An
email will be sent to the active membership asking if you want to OPT OUT of
the directory. If you chose this option,
your name will be listed, with no information.
Otherwise, you will be listed with Name, email, phone number and
birthday. At this time we are not
listing physical addresses. Going
forward, this OPT OUT question will be included on the membership form.
Secretary Lisa Lake-Johnson is out sick, so minutes are
being taken by membership Martha Wolf

meeting! Be sure to come prepared. You submit your own photos to the Modern Guild
but you can show your completed challenge at our meeting.
To be part of the modern exhibit at the market in Houston,
July 1 is the deadline.
Fat Quarter lottery was won by Ellyn Z, Val Businger, and
Kristy Kelly
The program was the pillow swap from the previous meeting.
Show and tell
July 7 is the next meeting.
The speaker will be Jo Ellis of Make Do Non Profit organization. Make Do helps underprivileged women become
more creative.
