Membership Information
Annual Dues for Local Membership only: $35
Annual Dues with National MQG Membership: $50 (correction from $45)
Visitors are welcome to visit for two meetings at no charge. After that, we encourage you to join or you can pay $5 per meeting.
Members can renew dues and new members can purchase a membership through the guild store online or by check or cash at a meeting.
What does a meeting look like?
Monthly meetings generally follow the following format:
- Check-in: See the membership table and sign in. Be sure to pick up your door prize ticket. If you're wearing a nametag, you'll get two door prize tickets.
- Welcome and Guild Business with the board members. You'll hear updates about guild activities, upcoming events and swaps, and any special news. This is usually 10-15 minutes.
- Show & Tell: Bring a recent finish or a favorite quilt to share with guild members. Quilts, bags and anything sewn can be shared at Show & Tell. We love to see your finished projects and will oooh and ahh accordingly.
- Program: Programs vary based on the month. We might have a guest speaker, demo, swap, or member activity.
- Door Prizes & Reminders: Be sure to stick around for the door prizes (usually gift cards to local quilt shops!), and we'll let you know about the next month's program!
