We will be starting a new swap at our
meeting on October 1, and you will want to be a part of it! Here's
what you need to know.
For the October meeting, bring a baggie
with a selection of your scraps that you'd like made into a fabric
basket for you. You can make your selections as coordinated or as
scrappy as you like! Be generous with the amount you send – any
extra will be returned to you. A gallon ziploc bag should be plenty.
Also be sure to include a larger piece, at least a fat quarter, or
perhaps even a half yard, so that the lining can be made without
piecing. Your scraps will go home with another member and they will
make something special for you with your hand-picked fabrics. And you
will get a selection of fabric to make something for another friend.
We will have a questionnaire for you to fill out to give your swap
partner more information to help them make something that you will
love.
You have just over a week till the
meeting. Time to choose your fabric!
